Meet Janette!
Financial Counselor Janette Meyers helps MRH patients who are struggling to pay their medical bills find financial assistance and/or apply for insurance.
“Financial struggles can be extremely stressful,” Janette said, “and for someone going through a medical ordeal, that stress can be detrimental. Being able to alleviate that for someone and seeing that relief melt off their shoulders feels amazing! And the team I work with is not just a work team, we are truly friends!”
Janette, who just celebrated her one-year anniversary at MRH, assists patients with applications for financial assistance and evaluates their eligibility for state-funded programs, including the Colorado Indigent Care Program (CICP). She is available Monday through Friday to help patients with accounts already due or plan for an upcoming procedure by reviewing information on available payment options. She also assists patients in finding information on programs within the community other than health care coverage.
The colleague who nominated Janette as an Unsung Hero praised her compassion and attitude. “Janette is always kind and caring when working with patients that are going through a hard time. She works every day with a smile on her face. She is a true blessing to our team.”
Janette was born in Colorado and moved to Wyoming about 15 years ago. Her son, a firefighter, lives in Tennessee with his wife and daughter.
Thank you for helping so many people in our community, Janette! We appreciate all your hard work and your kindness. Your contributions make MRH a better place.
