Meet Taylor!

MRH Registered Nurse Taylor Duzik works in the Medical Clinic alongside Family Practice Physician Jillian Hess, MD.

“I value having the opportunity to develop relationships with each of my patients,” Taylor said. “I also enjoy being able to connect my patients to local resources and provide education to help them manage their health and overall wellness.”

Born and raised in Craig, Taylor was a natural caregiver from a young age. “I grew up taking care of every critter I could get my hands on, from bottle kittens and calves to my dogs and saddle horses,” she said. “I think this sparked my interest in medicine and biology, and made nursing very natural to me. Now that I’m an RN, I have no doubt that this is what I am supposed to do.”

The colleague who nominated Taylor as an Unsung Hero agrees, writing “(Taylor) exemplifies dedication and professionalism in every aspect of her role as a nurse. Despite her demanding workload, she consistently finds time to mentor and train newer nurses and medical assistants, fostering growth and confidence in her colleagues. Her problem-solving skills and sharp mind make her invaluable when tackling unusual or complex situations. Taylor shines in patient care, building trust and rapport, and she is an outstanding team player who collaborates seamlessly with her peers and providers.”

Taylor is happy to be part of the Family Practice team. “I love the people I work with,” she said. “Collectively this is an outstanding team with the unified goal to provide excellent patient care. I learn so much from the providers and other nurses, and I love being able to teach new nurses and MAs the ropes and support them in their careers.”

When she’s not working, you might find Taylor outdoors, guiding hunters or roping. “My favorite days are spent on the mountain, on horseback with my dogs, or under arena lights with friends,” she said.

“I am deeply appreciative for this nomination, and I am so proud to work at Memorial Regional Health,” Taylor added.
