CRAIG, COLO. (August 5, 2016) The Memorial Hospital (TMH) Board of Trustees announced today that Andrew (Andy) J. Daniels has accepted their offer to be the Chief Executive Officer of The Memorial Hospital at Craig.

The search for a CEO began earlier this year. The Board of Trustees conducted an extensive review and interview process that included as many stakeholders as possible. Prior to making their selection of finalists, the Board received input from TMH medical staff, department managers and senior leadership.

Forrest Luke, TMH Board of Trustees Chairman said, “We are excited to welcome Andy to the TMH family. In addition to his impressive leadership skills and vast knowledge and experience in the health care field, he has a warm and engaging personality that will be well-received by TMH and local residents. The community is also going to enjoy his wife Liz. She has an energetic, witty personality and is fun to be around. Andy and Liz will be great additions to the community.” Andy has a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration from the Ohio University and a Master’s Degree in Project Management from DeVry-Keller Graduate School. Andy is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives, Certified Project Management Professional and Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality. “I am so pleased to be selected to serve both the hospital and community. I felt a very strong attraction to TMH because of the employees, engaged physicians, the organization’s focus on putting patients first, strong cultural values and solid board leadership,” he said. Andy and his family will be relocating the area as he begins his position at TMH on August 22, 2016.
