Meet Jennifer!

If you ever need an outpatient ultrasound, CT scan, MRI, or other imaging test at Memorial Regional Health, you’ll probably end up speaking with Jennifer Perry. She’s the Radiology Department’s Scheduler.

“I try and help the patient find a good day and time for their appointments around their schedules,” she said. “I also talk with all the radiology techs and the insurance people to check to make sure the orders are correct and good to go for the patients. I enjoy talking to our patients and trying to help as best I can to make things easy for them.”

Jennifer has been with MRH for three years. Before joining MRH, she was a billing specialist for a hospital in Wyoming. She works for MRH remote, from her home in Wyoming.

“She responds so quickly all the time to requests for scheduling and is great with the patients,” said the colleague who nominated Jennifer as Unsung Hero.

“I try to show our patients the compassion and understanding it takes when they’re making appointments for some of the more difficult tests they may have to face,” Jennifer said. “And I love working with everyone there at the hospital and clinic. It’s been a pleasure working with everyone at MRH.”

Jennifer and her husband of 33 years have three daughters, all of whom are grown and married. They’re also fortunate to have three grandchildren.

“Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my grandkids and doing anything with my husband,” she said.

If you do talk to Jennifer, ask her about the interesting job she had at Disneyland years ago. (Hint: She wore a character suit.)
