Meet Kailee!

The emergency department is a fast-paced and demanding environment, and it takes a special person to thrive there. Emergency Room Technician Kailee Wahlberg does just that, bringing a calm, caring presence to all her shifts. Known for her quick thinking and dedication, she works hard to ensure patients receive the best care while supporting her team.

“Kailee always goes above and beyond and stays busy her entire shift. She never says no when someone needs help. She is a valuable asset in the emergency department,” shared a coworker.

Kailee herself humbly agrees: “I genuinely care about others. I may come across as reserved at first, but I’m deeply compassionate and always ready to help those around me.”

From taking vital signs and starting IVs to assisting with procedures and transporting patients, Kailee’s role is essential to seamless care in the ER. Whether preparing equipment, stocking rooms, or stepping in during emergencies to perform CPR or set up life-saving tools, she is always ready to do whatever it takes for her patients and her team.

Kailee appreciates the dynamic environment of the ER and when asked about her favorite memory, she didn’t hesitate to highlight her coworkers: “One of my favorites has to be the daily banter and laughs with my coworkers. Even during high-pressure situations, we find ways to support each other and keep the mood light. That camaraderie makes the ER feel like a second family, and it’s something I truly cherish.”

For Kailee, her daughter is her biggest inspiration. “My biggest motivator has been to provide a better life for my daughter. She is my driving force and the reason I push myself every day to grow in my career and become the best provider I can be,” Kailee shared. “Her well-being is always my top priority, and she continuously inspires me to work hard and pursue my goals.”

Currently, Kailee is balancing her busy role at MRH with her second year of nursing school. “It’s challenging but fulfilling, and I’m excited to continue advancing my career in healthcare,” she said.

Outside of work and school, Kailee enjoys golfing with her boyfriend and friends and spending quality time with her family. “My family is the foundation of everything I do,” she explained. “They’ve supported me through all my accomplishments, and I wouldn’t be where I am today without them. Their love and encouragement have been essential in helping me reach my goals, both personally and professionally.”
