Our Mission

To cultivate relationships and partnerships that generate financial and related resources to enhance the hospital’s capacity in order to provide quality healthcare.

What We Do

The Memorial Regional Health Foundation has a very active, eight-member Board of Directors who are committed to continued financial support to MRH. The Foundation emphasizes grant writing and accessing outside funding to supplement Foundation funding for equipment and other healthcare needs.

The Foundation takes pride in wisely investing your dollars not only in facilities, but also in equipment that helps provide the best diagnostics available to patients in our community.

History

The Memorial Regional Health Foundation was founded in 2002 to support and improve rural healthcare needs in Moffat County. Since its inception, the Foundation has raised over $2,900,000 in support of the health system.

Accomplishments

  • In June 2024, the Foundation received a $30,000 grant award from the Rocky Mountain Health Foundation in support of Workforce Development in Moffat County. The grant received will aid with training and employee development for employees who are advancing their healthcare careers.
  • In October 2023, the Foundation approved a $1,000 donation to MRH Pediatrics for new books for children during wellness visits and to promote literacy – starting at the newborn stage. The pediatric team will be able to provide a new, age-appropriate book to children from birth-17 years to support literacy in our community.
  • Successful $1.2 million capital campaign in 2005 for a new healthcare facility.
  • The Foundation has raised over $2,900,000 in support of the health system.
  • The Foundation has also supported Children’s Health and Wellness Programs. These programs include annual bike helmet drives and the Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT) Production in conjunction with the Moffat County School District.
  • The Foundation has made improvements for pediatric service including a renovated Emergency Room for kids and pediatric entertainment carts with TV, DVDs, Xbox games, Nabi educational tablets and music.
  • The Foundation supplies and replenishes the Toy Closet, where children can choose an item to use during their hospital stay and to take home.
  • The Foundation purchased four new wheelchairs for MRH with contributions from MRH employees and the MRH Auxiliary – Pink Ladies.
  • The Foundation received grant funding in 2018 to purchase six new AEDs for each school within the Moffat County School District.
  • In 2018, MRH started a capital campaign for the new Medical Office Building (MOB), which is now open.
