Meet Michelle!

We are fortunate to have Michelle Marchese, LPN, on our team and would like to recognize her as our Unsung Hero! She exhibits exemplary work as a licensed practical nurse for Lindsey Harr, PA-C with the Family Practice Clinic. Michelle welcomes patients to the clinic, checks vital signs, gives immunizations/injections and gathers information to pass on to the provider.

Born and raised in New Jersey, Michelle moved to Denver in 1999. She started her career working in Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facilities with a focus on Dementia Care. She then transitioned to Hospice Care. Nursing felt like the right fit for her, and she began her nursing career in Boulder. With a move to Florida right before the COVID pandemic, Michelle decided to pick up travel nursing. She was sent up to Detroit to work with the National Guard during the beginning of the pandemic. The pop-up site she worked at was set up for 2,500 patients. She has since ended up back in Colorado, but this time on the western slope where she began her position with MRH in February 2022.

Michelle loves the people she works with and says there isn’t a day that goes by that one of her team members doesn’t have her laughing.

“The thing I love most is being able to help contribute to the community and the patients that we care for,” says Michelle.

When she’s not at MRH, Michelle enjoys going to the movies with coworkers and tending to her orchid collection. She used to be a part of the Denver Orchid Society when she lived in Denver! She also loves taking her chunky Chihuahua on walks with her honey.
