Letter From Our CEO: Upcoming Events and Staff Spotlights

Don’t miss any updates from Memorial Regional Health by signing up for our every-other-month Living Well newsletter here.

Dear Community Members,

Last week, MRH celebrated Hospital Week. Each year we spend time celebrating all of the people who make it possible to provide healthcare in our community. It was a fun week and serves as a kick-off to summer.

Upcoming Events

Mark your calendars for our upcoming MRH Foundation Golf Tournament on Friday, July 26th! This year we are teeing off at 9:00 a.m.This should make for a cooler round of golf. Proceeds from this tournament help support a variety of initiatives within the hospital.

A week later, MRH is hosting our annual 5k Color Run/Walk at Loudy Simpson. This event kicks off at 7:00 a.m. to coincide with the launching of the Balloon Fesitval’s hot air balloons. This is a fun and magical experience for the whole family.

Staff Spotlights

We are thrilled to welcome our new family practice physician, Dr. Jillian Hess. Jillian is currently finishing her Family Medicine Residency at the University of Utah, and will join the MRH provider team in August. Jillian and her fiance are excited to move to Craig and get to know this community.

And if you missed our last issue of Living Well, you may also have missed out on learning about three of our new providers – Alfred Maina, CRNA, who is helping us expand our pain management program; Cassandra Rusche, PA, who is a new pediatric provider; and, Jessica Nyquist, PA, who is a new dermatology provider. You can read more about them on our website – www.memorialregionalhealth.com.
