By making medical care available where it might not be attainable, by strengthening the skills of experts and by providing leading-edge technology, we empower our health system’s team of caregivers and improve healthcare for those they serve.

How to Donate

To contribute a donation to the Memorial Regional Health Foundation, donors have two options:

Please note: All donations qualify for a charitable income tax deduction and Colorado Enterprise Zone tax credit.

Charitable Giving to the MRH Foundation: Types of Giving

Your commitment to Memorial Regional Health is a vital part of keeping Moffat County healthy. By contributing to the Foundation, you are directly impacting quality of life, enhancing services, building infrastructure — even saving lives.

There are many ways to contribute to the Foundation, and all donations qualify for a charitable income tax deduction and Colorado Enterprise Zone tax credit. The State of Colorado allows a 25% tax credit on your state income taxes.

Memorial Donations

Memorial donations are designed to remember loved ones. Honorary gifts are a distinctive way of recognizing an individual, MRH physician or staff member. Memorial gifts can be given to the Foundation’s general fund or as a restricted fund to specify how the gift will be spent. Honorary gifts can be set up through the MRH Touched by Care Program.

Grateful Patients

When patients and their families are appreciative of the care they received, they often ask, “How can we show our appreciation?” A handwritten note to a staff member or a more public statement in the newspaper or on social media are all appreciated. If a person wishes to make a longer lasting statement of appreciation, the Foundation can receive gifts of gratitude through the MRH Touched by Care Program.

Equipment and Healthcare Service Donations

Future undesignated donations received will go into the Foundation’s general fund to provide for additional or replacement of equipment and other healthcare needs to enhance the hospital’s capacity to provide quality healthcare.

Donor Recognition Wall

To express our thanks, a Donor Recognition Wall was built in the main lobby of the hospital to recognize generous contributions.

Special Event Sponsorship

The Memorial Regional Health Foundation hosts an annual golf tournament each year. Proceeds from the Foundation Golf Tournament have helped MRH to purchase new equipment for pediatrics, radiology, the emergency department, orthopedics and surgery.

Tournament sponsorship from businesses show support for the healthcare needs of Moffat County while advertising and promoting their business.

Charitable Estate Planning

Charitable Trusts can be established for those donors who wish to set up an estate plan. Please contact the Foundation office if you are interested.
