The Memorial Regional Health Foundation Receives Grant From The Rocky Mountain Health Foundation

(CRAIG, Colorado) – The Memorial Regional Health Foundation received a $30,000 grant award from the Rocky Mountain Health Foundation in support of Workforce Development in Moffat County. The grant received will provide assistance for training and employee development for employees who are advancing their healthcare careers.

Memorial Regional Health is currently addressing the issues of healthcare workforce shortages in Moffat County. This grant will provide MRH funding for travel and educational funding in four shortage areas including: Laboratory Services, Cardiopulmonary Services, and Medical Assistant Certifications. Providing opportunities for career advancement will improve chances for success with workforce recruitment and retention. MRH’s goal is to improve the delivery of quality care and ensure that services are provided to the community.

Rocky Mountain Health Foundation, based in Grand Junction, CO, has been very generous to MRH in the past. Past grants received include Telehealth equipment, COVID funding assistance and Behavioral Health support.”
