Unsung Hero: Grisel Moriel

Medical Assistant

Meet Grisel!

As an Unsung Hero at MRH, Grisel Moriel exemplifies dedication, adaptability, and a commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of those she serves.

Grisel began her career at MRH as a Medical Assistant in family practice and recently transitioned to Rapid Care in October. Her current role involves rooming patients, administering vaccines, and supporting providers throughout their busy days.

Grisel enjoys the unpredictable nature of her new department, saying, “I love how I never know what will come through the Rapid Care door.” Unlike the scheduled routine of family practice, Rapid Care presents a dynamic environment where every day brings new challenges and surprises. The unpredictability keeps Grisel engaged and ready to tackle whatever comes her way.

Her entry into healthcare was inspired by a profound desire to help others. Grisel finds fulfillment in knowing that her work contributes to making a positive impact on people’s lives. Her current role is a steppingstone toward nursing school, where she aspires to take her passion for helping others to the next level by directly saving lives.

With a tenure of just over a year at MRH, Grisel brings a wealth of experience from her previous position as a Medical Interpreter at Northwest Colorado Health. At MRH, she continues to provide valuable bilingual services, helping communication between patients and providers go smoother.

Her dedication to improving patient care is further reflected in her favorite memories at MRH, where she acknowledges the support and guidance received from managers April, Ashley, and Michelle.

Originally from El Paso, Texas, Grisel has been a Craig resident for about 14 years and loves the Colorado lifestyle. Outside of work, she explores her culinary interests, spends quality time with her siblings and husband Roberto, and embarks on road trips to discover new places.

While Grisel doesn’t currently engage in specific organizations, her passion for pediatric care shines through as a life passion. Her experiences within MRH have allowed her to discover her affinity for working in pediatrics, particularly with children and newborns.

Beyond her professional life, Grisel’s love for cleaning and organization also brings her joy.

Grisel, we are thrilled to have you on our team, and we want you to know how much we appreciate you – Thank you!
