Meet Cortney!

Cortney Hagen stands out as an Unsung Hero in the Orthopedic Department and a fantastic example for our MRH team all around. As an Orthopedic Medical Assistant, Cortney ensures the smooth operation of essential tasks, reflecting a commitment that goes beyond the clinical realm.

“Cortney takes on any task asked of her and gives 110%. She is always striving to learn and better her knowledge in whatever area she is working. She will work anywhere and help out when needed.”

Day in and day out, you’ll find Cortney playing a pivotal role in the well-being of patients and working side by side with providers to deliver high-quality care. What makes Cortney’s day? For her, it’s all about witnessing those magic healing moments with her patients.

Two years ago, Cortney traded the Glenwood Springs scene for our close-knit community. As a Gypsum, CO native, she wanted to return to a small-town setting, bringing that authentic small-town care to MRH.

Beyond the hospital walls, she loves to soak in as much time as possible with her 4-year-old son and enjoys frequent visits with her parents and her brother’s family. She describes herself as “an introvert trying to be an extrovert” with her most recent venture being bowling; she loves the energy of it!
