Meet The Facilities Team!

It’s often the Unsung Heroes who ensure the smooth operation of Memorial Regional Health. Among these heroes is the Facilities team, a group of dedicated individuals who live by a simple yet powerful motto: “We succeed together or fail together.”

For them, this isn’t just a saying; it’s a way of life. Recently, a heartwarming incident served as a testament to their dedication. A member of the MRH family was struggling to load equipment into their car for an event. Sensing the need, the Facilities team stepped in without hesitation. They offered to load the equipment into their work truck, followed the individual home, and even helped move the equipment into their car. They didn’t have to do any of this, but they did it, reflecting their mutual belief in caring for those in our community.

This remarkable department is led by Todd, with Sam, Trey, and Trevor serving as the pillars of his crew. Together, they form a team that ensures the hospital’s infrastructure remains in top-notch condition and guarantees safety for everyone who enters the premises.

Their collective experience varies, with Sam Billig leading the way as the senior team member with 5 years of dedicated service at MRH. Following closely are Trevor Kuhn with 4-1/2 years, Trey Jourgensen with 1-3/4 years, and Todd Jourgensen with 2 years. Each of them brings unique skills and perspectives to the team, making them a well-rounded and effective force.

What fuels their passion for this often behind-the-scenes work? It’s the ever-changing nature of their tasks. They thrive on the variety that comes with their roles, tackling new challenges and responsibilities each day. But more than that, it’s the rewarding feeling of serving the MRH family and the wider community.
