Meet Kaitlynn!

Meet our Unsung Hero, Kaitlynn Grabe, whose exceptional dedication to patient well-being shines through in her role as a Customer Service and Patient Finance Representative at MRH. Kaitlynn plays a vital role in ensuring patients receive the care they need while skillfully navigating the intricacies of healthcare finances. In her daily role, Kaitlynn’s tasks are as diverse as they are essential. She handles several patient calls, discussing their accounts, processing payments, and managing refund requests. Her attention to financial details ensures that the financial aspects of patient care run seamlessly, allowing patients to focus on their health.

Kaitlynn has been an integral part of MRH for over a year, celebrating her one-year milestone on September 21, 2023. Kaitlynn’s journey into healthcare was inspired by a personal connection—her mother, who works in billing and coding. Hearing her mother discuss the intricacies of her job sparked Kaitlynn’s curiosity and passion to explore a similar path.

What Kaitlynn loves most about her position at MRH is the diversity of her tasks. She says, “I love having a variety of things I do, so my days are never the same.” One heartwarming memory from her time at MRH involves her Business Office Manager, Heather, who shared that when Kaitlynn applied for a patient access position, she and the manager at the time were so impressed that they fought over who got to send her the offer letter, a testament to her exceptional qualities!

Beyond her professional life, Kaitlynn loves spending time with her significant other and their family. She says they are a lot of fun to hang out with, and there’s never a dull moment when they are together. Her love for the great outdoors shines through in her weekend activities, which include hiking, swimming, and dirt bike riding during warmer seasons. When winter arrives, she doesn’t get out as much, but she is eager to get back into snowboarding.

Something amazing you might not know about Kaitlynn is that she dropped out of high school late freshman year until the second semester of her senior year. She re-enrolled and graduated on time with her graduating class!
