Dear Community Members,

Spring is very nearly here, and I’m sure many of you will agree that it can’t come quickly enough. With a new season upon us, we welcomed two new members to our Board of Trustees – John Ponikvar and Steve Hilley. John was appointed to a new, five-year term, and Steve was appointed to fulfill the remainder of Terry Carwile’s term.

I am thrilled that MRH is bringing back the Community Health Fair. The last Community Health Fair was held in 2019. COVID restrictions prevented us from hosting the health fair from 2019-2022. As in years past, you will get your labs done prior to the health fair. Then on April 15th from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., you can come pick up your results and visit with health professionals and other vendors. More information is available in this edition of Living Well and on our website.

I am also pleased that MRH will be welcoming a new family practice physician, Dr. Colin Stewart. Dr. Stewart is the brother of Dr. Aaron Stewart, who joined our primary care team in 2021. Dr. Colin Stewart will be joining us on May 1st.

I hope you will take a few minutes to read through this Living Well. Pages six and seven include our annual report to the community, including our care volumes and financial highlights from 2022. I am proud of the hard work and dedication of our staff and love sharing the positive impact we have in our community.

MRH CEO Jennifer Riley

Sincerely,
Jennifer Riley, MHA
