I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. As we approach the end of the year, I am delighted to share with you some exciting developments at MRH that we believe will not only enhance the workplace for our dedicated staff but also contribute to the well-being of our entire community.
First and foremost, we understand the importance of fair compensation and conducted a comprehensive market analysis to ensure that our employees are paid appropriately. Our commitment to supporting our team extends beyond financial considerations. This year we were thrilled to announce the reinstatement of our education stipend, allowing every full-time and part-time employee access to 1.5% of their wage for education and training. We believe that investing in our employees’ growth directly benefits both them and the quality of care we provide to our community.
In the face of challenges, MRH absorbed a significant 24% increase in our health insurance premiums, while ensuring that the benefits remain unchanged for our valued employees. This decision reflects our commitment to their well-being and underscores the importance we place on maintaining a healthy and thriving workforce.
On the note of appreciation, December brings additional joy as we will be providing 3% raises and holiday bonuses to express our gratitude for the hard work and dedication our team consistently demonstrates. It’s a small token of our immense appreciation for the incredible efforts our staff puts forth each day.
In line with fostering a positive and vibrant culture within our organization, we have made conscious efforts to bring back some fun to the workplace. From employee BBQs and popcorn and cookie days to breakfast treats and root beer floats, these events not only add a touch of enjoyment but also strengthen the bonds within our team. Looking ahead, we are excited to announce a week of special events in December, including a chili cookoff and a free prime rib dinner for our staff.
At MRH, we understand that our staff is the heartbeat of our ability to deliver exceptional care to the community we serve. As we reflect on the strides we’ve taken this year, we remain steadfast in our commitment to making Memorial Regional Health the first choice for employees, ensuring that our community continues to receive the outstanding care it deserves.
Thank you for your ongoing support, and we look forward to another year of growth, collaboration, and community well-being.
Warm regards,

MRH CEO Jennifer Riley
