The Memorial Regional Health Foundation Receives Two Grants to Upgrade MRH Specialty Clinic Entrance
(CRAIG, Colorado) – The Memorial Regional Health Foundation received a $2,500 grant award from the Yampa Valley Electric – Operation Roundup and a $2,500 grant from the Western Colorado Community Foundation to upgrade the entry way at MRH’s Specialty Clinic, 600 Russel Street. The funding received will be used to upgrade the handicap door. The Specialty Clinic, operated by Dr. Kipe, has a high population of elderly patients including many with wheelchairs who need assistance entering the building. The equipment upgrade will offer power assisted swing door openers to provide easier access for people with disabilities or mobility impairments. The upgrade meets ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) requirements. The total cost of the project is approximately $6,000.
Eva Peroulis, MRH Foundation Director said “This upgrade will provide for up-to-date equipment supporting the safety and well-being of our patients.” Memorial Regional Health and the MRH Foundation appreciates Yampa Valley Electric Operation Round up and Western Colorado Community Foundation for their partnership and financial support in improving healthcare in Moffat County.
