CRAIG, COLO. (March 29, 2017) Today, Andy Daniels, CEO of Memorial Regional Health announced that Dr. Larry Kipe will join Memorial Regional Health as an employed physician. The Board of Trustees approved the employment agreement and purchase of Dr. Kipe’s medical practice, Moffat Family Clinic.
“We are pleased to welcome Dr. Kipe and the employees of Moffat Family Clinic into our organization. Dr. Kipe is a well-respected member of the medical staff and community and we are looking forward to the leadership he will continue to bring to Memorial Regional Health as an employed physician.”
Regarding the agreement Dr. Kipe said, “I’m excited to be partnering with the hospital. This partnership will allow me to spend more of my time taking care of all my patient friends in Moffat County without having to spend the large amount of time that I currently spend on running a complicated medical business.”
Cathrine Blevins, Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees said, “Dr. Kipe is one of our community’s most experienced physicians. His commitment to his patients and to Memorial Regional Health is unwavering.”
Dr. Kipe’s employment agreement with Memorial Regional Health begins May 1, 2017. Dr. Kipe will continue seeing patients at his current location at 600 Russell Street. Current patients should experience little change.
