Services range from the administration of antibiotics for inpatients to the delivery of long-term chemotherapy in the outpatient setting. About Infusion Therapy at MRH
Infusion-trained nurses and staff play an integral role in coordinating care with physicians, pharmacists and specialists while working to achieve the best possible outcomes for our patients. At MRH, we have a team of caring, experienced and knowledgable staff members who can assist you with any of your infusion therapy needs.
Our infusion therapy team consists of:
- ONS chemotherapy/biotherapy certified nurses
- Local physicians, who provide any necessary oversight
Infusion therapy is when a patient requires administration of medication through a needle or catheter. According to the National Home Infusion Association, diseases that commonly call for infusion therapy include:
- Cancer and cancer-related pain
- Infections (when not responsive to oral antibiotics)
- Disorders with the gastrointestinal system

We’re sure you’ll find our new, state-of-the-art Infusion Clinic comfortable.
There are several features in the clinic at the new Medical Office Building that weren’t in our old building, such as cozy electric recliners in front of windows overlooking scenic landscapes, TVs at each infusion station and an inviting outdoor patio for patients to enjoy.
By updating these details, the new Infusion Center is now up to modern-day standards. We can’t wait until you check it out for yourself!
The Infusion Center in the new Medical Office Building is located on the first floor on the southeast side. Infusion therapy and oncology services are generally ordered by your treating physician.
